Tour Itinerary

  • Fly to Gondar, then drive to Debark. Meet your guide and scout, and start your trek to Sankabar camp. Encounter Gelada baboons along the way.

  • Trek 5-6 hours to Geech camp, enjoying the stunning scenery of the Simien Mountains and observing the unique flora and fauna.

  • Day hike to Imet Gogo, one of the best viewpoints in the park, offering panoramic vistas. Visit Seha and Quedadit before returning to camp.

  • Hike through Giant Lobelia forests to Chenek, a prime location for spotting the Walia Ibex and more Gelada baboons.

  • Ascend to Bwahit Peak (4,200m), the second-highest point in the park. Enjoy panoramic views before returning to Chenek.

  • Descend from Chenek and drive back to Gondar. Visit the Royal Enclosure and Debre Berhan Selassie Church before flying to Addis Ababa.
